Entrant opinions:

“I greatly enjoyed the conference. Good people, well organized, interesting conversations. Thanks to both Jans (Jan Cervinka, Adastra’s CEO, and Jan Mrazek, President of Adastra Corporation) for inviting me to speak there. I do hope that I can do it again for Adastra,” Dr. Claudia Imhoff

“The lectures and illustrations by Claudia Imhoff were really inspiring and confirmed to us that the direction, in which we are heading, is fully in step with trends around the world and with the experiences of other companies. It was great to meet with colleagues from other companies and discuss concrete areas, for example the organisation of work in our departments or new technical solutions. This was a very unique exchange of experience,” RNDr. Anna Surová, director of the data warehouse design department, Česká pojišťovna

“Today’s symposium was of a very high quality. Ms Imhoff demonstrated that she possesses enormous expertise and is a superb speaker. Her presentations were truly impressive. I have come away with loads of ideas, which will help me at work, for instance the categorisation of data warehouse users. Now I know how to distinguish among the ‘farmers’, ‘tourists’, and ‘operators’ of our users and how to communicate and work with them,” Ing. Luboš Mrázek, MBA, director of the BI division, eBanka

“The main thing, I appreciated about the event, was meeting people working in the same industry, since sometimes the informal chats are more important than the event itself,” Miloš Jun, Senior Business Analyst, Český Mobil

“I was pleased this DW Symposium brought together people from various market segments, from scientific to supply and user segments. It is always enjoyable and useful to meet people, who are at the very top in terms of development, as Claudia Imhoff. There is a broad portfolio of viewpoints available, especially in connection with the linking of new theoretical findings to concrete practical experiences, and this is what I like. These meetings are always instructive for me and help me to keep ‘my finger on the pulse of latest trends’ in this industry. I always take something away from DW Club meetings that I can apply inside the company later,” Ing. Jan Luc, Project Manager, BSD - Commercial & MIS,
Tesco Stores CR,

“The DW Symposium is aimed at management, middle management and decision makers in the data warehouse directions within a company. There were many things said here that can be used for data warehouse argumentation, project preparation, planning, what to focus on while building the data warehouse, and how to continue,” Vladimír Klement, DW architect, GE Capital Bank
